Why I’m No Longer Vegan

After 5 years of being vegan I made the decision in the summer of 2019 to eat animal products. I did so for two main reasons;

  1. My health was rapidly declining
  2. It perpetuated my eating disorder

In reality it’s as simple as that but I know that many of you want to know MORE and are curious about the details of my journey so down below in this video I share more of my story so that you can better understand why I have now changed my diet and quite veganism.

I am very aware that this is quite the controversial topic but that will not stop me from sharing my story. We have so many people online sharing the amazingness of the vegan diet which perpetuates this idea that it works for everyone when it doesn’t.

We need more people sharing their negative experiences with certain diets- whether that be keto, GAPS, paleo, or vegan– so that we can stop this dangerous diet culture BS that says, “this diet is perfect and will work for everyone”.
